Who we are
GJ Retirement Solutions, LLC is an independent insurance agency owned by Guy Jean, a licensed independent insurance agent, National Producer Number 16025160. You can reach us at 1310 W Colonial Dr, Suite 1, Orlando, FL 32804, by phone at (407) 800-1380, or by email at guy@gjretirementsolutions.com. This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into a form on this site: your name, email address, phone number, age, ZIP code, and the coverage you told us you are interested in. We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your bank or card details, or your medical records through this website. If a carrier needs that information later in an application, it is collected by that carrier through its own secure process, not here. Our hosting provider also records standard server logs for every visitor, including IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and a timestamp. Those logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
Why we collect it
To answer the question you asked. When you request a quote, Guy uses your age, ZIP code and coverage interest to find which carriers will write you and at what price, then contacts you with the result. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not enrich your record with data bought from third parties.
Consent to be contacted
When you submit a form or book a call, you are asking us to contact you, and you consent to be reached at the phone number and email address you provided, including by text message. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, or by emailing guy@gjretirementsolutions.com. Opting out of marketing contact does not stop us from replying to a question you asked.
Cookies and tracking
This site runs Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-VY4XKBGS25. It sets first-party cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_VY4XKBGS25, which count visits and tell a returning visitor apart from a new one. They expire two years after your last visit. We use no other cookies.
What we see back is aggregate. How many people arrived, which pages they read, the approximate city they were in, and which search engine or website sent them. We cannot see your name from analytics, and we do not join analytics data to the quote requests you submit. Google acts as our service provider for this and is not permitted to use it for its own advertising.
We run no Meta Pixel, no advertising or retargeting tag, and we do not fingerprint your device. If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and most content blockers stop the tag without breaking anything on this site.
The other third party that sees anything is Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces this site uses and therefore receives your IP address as part of that request.
Who we share it with
When you ask for a quote, we share what you gave us with the insurance carriers and their underwriters that we approach on your behalf. That is the point of the request and it is the only routine sharing we do. Separately, the analytics described above are processed by Google on our behalf as a service provider, under terms that bar Google from using them for its own purposes. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a professional adviser such as our own attorney or accountant who is bound to keep it confidential.
Scheduling a call
The booking links on this site go to Calendly, which is a separate company with its own privacy policy. Nothing on this site is embedded from Calendly, so Calendly only receives information if you choose to follow one of those links and book a time.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for as long as we are working with you and for as long afterward as insurance recordkeeping rules require, which for our purposes we treat as five years. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded. After that we delete or anonymize what we hold.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email guy@gjretirementsolutions.com and we will respond within 45 days. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what we collect and why, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of them. As stated above, we do not sell or share your information, so there is nothing for you to opt out of, but the other rights apply and you can exercise them at the address above. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you are in the EEA or the UK, our lawful basis for handling your information is your consent when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in operating the site. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions travel encrypted. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we keep the amount of information collected here deliberately small so that there is little to lose.
Children
This site is for adults shopping for insurance and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date below. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
